About
Hey there, I'm William, I write code for work, for sport, and for fun.
I build things ranging from compilers and trading systems to three-player chess engines, all open-source on my GitHub. I've also consulted on engineering, AI automation, and cybersecurity: from porting production algorithms to rolling out AI workflows and auditing AI SaaS platforms. When I'm not shipping side projects, I'm grinding algorithm problems or designing contest exercises for others to solve.

Background
Computer science engineering student at INSA Lyon, GPA 3.9/4.0, graduating June 2027, specialized in algorithms, machine learning, and agentic AI. Exchange semester at Lehigh University, Fall 2026. I served as president of INSAlgo and vice-president of AEDI. CTO at Buddimm through January 2027; earlier work includes a security assessment at Profundum AI and an ST-to-C++ toolchain at BOBST.

I speak five languages: French (native), Creole (native), English (C2), German (B2) and Japanese (JLPT N4). Off the keyboard: mathematics, video games, the gym and running.

Joined as an intern, then hired as CTO. Own the full technical stack: public website, internal tools, and the lead-generation pipeline.
- Lead AI tooling: Claude for Teams company-wide, a custom company MCP for internal tools and data, and ~20 skills based on internal processes
- Train the team on effective AI usage. Some tasks now run up to 8 times faster
- Maintain the public website and its SEO, which increased traffic by nearly 10x in two weeks

BOBST - ST-to-C++ toolchain for a production optimizer
Reimplemented a 25,000-line industrial optimizer written in CODESYS Structured Text, without access to its proprietary compiler or a runnable source of truth.
- Built an ST-to-C++ compilation pipeline: source extraction, syntax rewrites, C++17 codegen, and a runtime harness
- Extended the optimizer so it derived configuration values instead of taking them as manual inputs, considerably speeding up the sale process
